KICKBOXING / SAVATE (click for video)

 

Taught by former World Kickboxing & Savate Champion Dominique Fontanarosa, this class focuses on punching & kicking technique and defense, sparring & partner drilling, and conditioning & strength-building exercises.

KICKBOXING FOR WOMEN (all ages) (click for video)

Employing both hands & feet, Kickboxing is an excellent form of cardio & strength fitness. This class includes instruction of real kicks, punches, knees & elbows practiced on boxing bags & pads (not on other people!); and circuit training, which builds skills & ensures a well-rounded workout. No prior experience necessary. What to bring: fitness clothing, gym shoes (preferably indoor).

MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world, and an exciting spectacle too. The class focuses primarily on standup grappling (wrestling, judo) and groundfighting (wrestling, brazilian jiujitsu & ground-and-pound striking).

 

INTENSIVE MMA
 

For aspiring or experienced MMA fighters with the time & determination to improve their skills in standup striking, takedowns & groundfighting. Six days (13.5 hrs)/week. (click for details)

COMPETITIVE STRIKING for Muay Thai, K1, MMA (click for video)

 

 

Led by world-class trainer Dominique Fontanarosa, this session focuses on Muay Thai, K1 & MMA striking. Instruction includes adjustments to technique, effective combinations & power generation. Pro fighters (like Ramazan Ramazanov, pictured left) sometimes attend this class for Dominiques superior level of instruction. Open to all levels (beginner to pro).

Boxing

Classic western style boxing is taught by world-class instructor Dominique Fontanarosa. Fundamentals of boxing offense and defense are combined with conditioning, light sparring and partner drilling. Participants should be prepared for a rigorous but safe workout.

One-on-one fitness training with pro mixed martial arts fighter Shane Wiggand and Dominique Fontanarosa enables a tailored program to be developed that perfectly suits each individual - from pro fighters wishing to prepare for a fight, through to people who have never fought but want to enjoy getting fit.
